Artist Bio: Pan and Boo
Art is not an elitist gift for a few select people.
Art is for everyone.
~Sir David Attenborough
Pan and Boo is a fibre artist collective made of Ash Wilford (Pan) and Bec Dee (Boo). They specialise in different fibre arts and collectively display their works in large scale installations.
Bec Dee is a local artist whose practice includes a wide array of fibre arts, but specialises in embroidery, sewing and other needlepoint. She aims to combine her knowledge of early education and child development with art to creative immersive play experiences. “In A World of My Own” is the first public display of her art.
Ash Wilford is a multidisciplinary artist, who does crochet and knitting as one medium. She specialises in kinetic, and exploratory spaces. She is undertaking a Bachelor of Architecture currently and has displayed work through TAFE Queensland.
Bec both believe art is for everyone. Through our works we aim to inspire others to explore and learn through craft.
